How it all began in 2015….
One mom. A bunch of crappy socks. One idea.
In 2015, a new mom had enough of socks that slipped off, got lost, or gave up the moment life got wild. Classic.
So she created Lillster.
Socks that stay on.
That get the job.
That can handle real life – from stroller naps to preschool chaos.
Socks that stay on. Even during the wildest missions.
From a closet warehouse to kids all over the country (yep, the world actually).
Retro patterns. Mini vibes.
Socks that became way more than just socks.
They stayed. On feet – and in hearts.
So good they got passed down.
So good-looking no one wanted to take them off at home.
And soon it wasn’t just for the kids anymore.
Matching became a thing – because let’s face it, it’s FUN to show you belong.

We’re Mikaela & Henrik – friends, parents, entrepreneurs, and Lillster fans since day one.
When Maria, the founder, decided to take a step back, we felt it in our bones:
Nope. The world needs Lillster.
So we jumped in – with Maria still behind the pattern magic.
We’re running on new ideas, fresh energy, and one clear mission:
To bring the Lillster vibe to more feet, more homes – in more corners of the world.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Lillster always puts the child in focus. If the children do not want to wear socks, they will not wear them. A Lillster sock should not lie and dust in an old box. A Lillster sock is for use. That's why we make comfortable socks with funky details that appeal to both small and big adventurers.
Lillster is a FUN, trendy & conscious children's brand from Sweden. Lillster is characterized by curiosity, humor, quality and trend awareness. Inspired by the world and its playful children.
THIS IS WHAT WE THINK
The biggest climate thief is consumption and, above all, overconsumption. However, everyone needs socks. If you buy good socks, you can wear them for a long time, resell them or let someone inherit. You do not throw away a Lillster sock. Each Lillster sock has its very own personality. This is because we want to make the socks a little fun for the kids but also because we want to highlight that things are not soulless. We hope and wish this is a way to a more conscious consumption where you buy good things that you actually need.
We choose to see and take responsibility for our surroundings by, based on our position, minimizing our environmental impact and promoting good working conditions in our production stages. Below you can read about our thinking, work and the certificates that we, at present, work with.
Lillster's tube socks are Oeko-tex certified, as is the anti-slip protection that is free of Phthalates. The socks are designed in Sweden. Produced in Sweden, Turkey or Portugal. Cotton in Sweden and Turkey, wool in Portugal. Our factories are Oeko-tex certified, so we can ensure that the socks do not contain any substances that are harmful to your health. We have chosen factories based on the fact that we should be able to make all socks in the same place and therefor minimize shipping.

Oeko-tex standard is a worldwide health label for textile goods. The brand guarantees that the end product does not cause allergic problems or other health problems. All products marked with OEKO-TEX have undergone extensive tests to ensure that no hazardous chemicals remain in the product.
