OUR HISTORY
A ANNOYED MOTHER WITH A MISSION!
Lillster was started in 2015 by the then new mother Maria Vister. Maria, like many other new parents, found it impossible to find socks that remained on the little baby's feet. The irritation grew. How is that even possible? Maria scanned the market, started Lillster and solved the problem. The slogan "Socks that stay on, even during the hardest conditions" was born.
What started as a one-man business with storage in a closet grew quite quickly into a warehouse in Uncle Henrik's basement, which later became what it is today. A sock brand to count on for both big and small. Lillster is now the obvious sock choice. At least if you ask "The Lillsterworld gang"
CHRISTMAS MOTHER WHO BECAME CAMILLA WITH THE ENTIRE LILLSTERWORLD
Camilla Hedman, also known as "Christmas Mother", entered Lillsterworld with full force in February 2021. Camilla and her family have with their beautiful feet contributed to Lillster's image bank for many years. Now we can say that we are TWO mothers with a little more missions. Not ANNOYED anymore. Just stoked and possibly a little ANNOYING;)
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Lillster always puts the child in focus. If the children do not want to wear socks, they will not wear them. A Lillster sock should not lie and dust in an old box. A Lillster sock is for use. That's why we make comfortable socks with funky details that appeal to both small and big adventurers.

THIS IS WHAT WE THINK
The biggest climate thief is consumption and, above all, overconsumption. However, everyone needs socks. If you buy good socks, you can wear them for a long time, resell them or let someone inherit. You do not throw away a Lillster sock. Each Lillster sock has its very own personality. This is because we want to make the socks a little fun for the kids but also because we want to highlight that things are not soulless. We hope and wish this is a way to a more conscious consumption where you buy good things that you actually need.
We choose to see and take responsibility for our surroundings by, based on our position, minimizing our environmental impact and promoting good working conditions in our production stages. Below you can read about our thinking, work and the certificates that we, at present, work with.
Lillster's tube socks are Oeko-tex certified, as is the anti-slip protection that is free of Phthalates. The socks are designed in Sweden. Produced in Sweden, Turkey or Portugal. Cotton in Sweden and Turkey, wool in Portugal. Our factories are Oeko-tex certified, so we can ensure that the socks do not contain any substances that are harmful to your health. We have chosen factories based on the fact that we should be able to make all socks in the same place and therefor minimize shipping.

Oeko-tex standard is a worldwide health label for textile goods. The brand guarantees that the end product does not cause allergic problems or other health problems. All products marked with OEKO-TEX have undergone extensive tests to ensure that no hazardous chemicals remain in the product.
